The last comment from Hector. Is that my crazy Hector from Hawaii? Ettore? If so e-mail me through the site. To all my supporters -- thank you so much. Your words really help me. I feel as though I've died and gone to hell most days, but the support brings tears to my eyes and gives me strength. New York is a horrible corrupt city and i can't wait to get back to London! Tricia xoxo

Tricia, Think of this as a new beginning, not the end. You deserve better and now better is here. Open yourself to accept new things, new people, and a new life. Take care!

Tricia, I have spent 10 years studying developments in divorce law for my Master's degree in 18th century British History. I have compiled case studies of 3 aristocratic divorces from the period and have ALWAYS maintained that very little has changed in regards to women's rights when it comes to divorce. I am SO proud of you! I wish I could tell you the story of Lady Henrietta Grosvenor; she would inspire you! Most women are afraid to fight, worn down and too tired, or simply at an economic disadvantage. She fought back, as you are, and won a life pension and her own home. It is sad and ironic that in this time, when we are supposed to enjoy equality, that the men still have so much power over our lives. I still firmly believe that the "equality" bit is mostly propaganda. As to the age difference between you and your husband, it is no one's business but yours. NEVER feel that you have to dignify anyone's rude questions or comments with a response. You are LOVELY and STRONG and SMART. I am pulling for you!

Well...I'm not quite sure what to say in situations like this but I felt I should write to you because your plight has irritated me quite a bit. I've seen things like this happen to women all the time and it's absolutely insane. My female friends who have money wouldn't DARE do what this rotten man is doing to you. You don't put someone out into the street if you can help it. It's just not right. It's always different when it's a man with money, eh? They're literally DRUNK with power when they have cash to spare and don't give a damn who they trash and/or destroy while playing with the loose change in their pockets. Keep your chin up Tricia---Even if he doesn't do the right thing, you've paved the way for your future success simply by opening up and laying your cards on the table...World be damned if they don't like it. You seem rather special and I think you'll now have a much better chance of proving it. Best of luck to you--- Sincerely, Heather

I can believe that you are getting shut out. In this country everything pivots on money and power. I'm afraid you are, as they say, in a pissing contest with a skunk! You're not going to 'win'. I hope you are not heartbroken and can find some peace and happiness in things that cost less money! If you are really out on the street, you can have my room. You would be a hoot to hang out with!! Everything will be OK...the important things are those that can't be taken away! Peaceout...
